By accessing or using InboxBoard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
InboxBoard reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
InboxBoard is a web-based email management platform that allows you to:
- Connect your Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 email accounts via secure OAuth authentication (custom domains hosted by Google or Microsoft are supported)
- View and manage your emails in visual board, Kanban, list, and calendar formats
- Organize emails with drag-and-drop, priorities, scheduling, and custom groups
- Reply to emails directly from the InboxBoard interface
- Use filters, search, and sorting to manage your email workflow
3. Account Registration
To use InboxBoard, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
4. Email Account Connection
InboxBoard connects to your email accounts using industry-standard OAuth 2.0 authentication provided by Google and Microsoft. By connecting your accounts:
- You grant InboxBoard permission to read, display, and interact with your emails as described in our Privacy Policy
- We never store your email passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Google and Microsoft
- You can revoke access to your email accounts at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings, or by disconnecting accounts within InboxBoard
5. Subscription Plans and Payment
InboxBoard offers multiple subscription tiers. See our Pricing page for current plans and pricing.
- Free Trial: A 7-day trial period with access to features, after which a paid plan is required to continue using the Service
- Standard Plan: Core email management features for individuals ($5/month)
- Pro Plan: Advanced features including calendar planner, bulk editing, and more ($9.99/month)
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the recurring billing terms associated with your chosen plan. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk email through the reply feature
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and content, is the intellectual property of InboxBoard and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without prior written consent.
Your emails and personal data remain your property. InboxBoard claims no ownership over your email content.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Service Availability
InboxBoard strives to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from temporary unavailability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InboxBoard and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
InboxBoard's total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which InboxBoard operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
